The Boomtown Festival, Monks, and Amplify project Boomtown Unboxed has won Tech Innovation of the Year at the UK Festival Awards.
This project marks a world-first: each festival attendee receives a personalised AI-powered video souvenir that captures their Boomtown experience. With data from real visitor behaviour, nearly 77,000 attendees received their video 72 hours post-festival — and Boomtown 2026 pre-sales hit a new record.
Last week, the UK festival industry gathered in Manchester for the 20th edition of the UK Festival Awards, celebrating the successes and innovations of 2025. During this event, our project and partners were recognised for pushing the boundaries of festival tech and the audience experience.
This could not have been achieved without Boomtown and Monks whose creativity and collaboration turned bold ideas into reality. This was powered by the strong collaboration and integration of the technology from Weezevent and Kaboodle.
